(1) The revisor shall prepare for approval by the committee an official list of the state, district, county, and municipal officials and state boards, commissions, divisions, and agencies who shall receive for official use sets of Colorado Revised Statutes, including a sufficient number of volumes for exchange with other states and territories on a reciprocal basis.
(2) The office of legislative legal services shall distribute such sets to the officials and agencies so listed, taking a receipt for each set so delivered.
(3) All sets of volumes provided for official use shall remain the property of the state of Colorado for the use of the named officials and their successors, and shall bear such designation.
