(1) A person shall not engage in activities as an outfitter, advertise in any publication as an outfitter, or represent himself, herself, or itself as an outfitter unless the person first obtains a registration from the division and unless the registration is in full force and effect and in the person's immediate possession. A person shall not continue to act as an outfitter if the person's registration has been suspended or revoked or has expired.
(2) An applicant for registration as an outfitter shall follow the procedures provided in section 12-145-108 and any other procedures required by the director. All applicants shall pay a nonrefundable registration fee to be determined by the director in accordance with section 12-20-105(2).
