(1) Prior to an election in which an electromechanical voting system is to be used, the designated election official shall have all system components prepared for voting and shall inspect and determine that each component is in proper working order. The designated election official shall cause a sufficient number of system components to be delivered to each voter service and polling center in which an electromechanical voting system is to be used.
(2) The designated election official shall supply each voter service and polling center in which electromechanical voting systems are to be used with a sufficient number of ballots, ballot cards, sample ballots, and ballot boxes, and with such other supplies and forms as may be required.
