Code of Federal Regulations Title 46. Shipping § 46.172.048 Definitions

As used in this subpart—

MARPOL 73/38   1 means the International Convention for the Prevention of Pollution from Ships, 1973, as modified by the Protocol of 1978 relating to that Convention.

 So in original;  probably should read “MARPOL 73/78”.
