(a) General. Tolerances are established for residues of the herbicide, pyraflufen-ethyl, including its metabolites and degradates, in the commodities in the table below. Compliance with the plant commodity tolerance levels specified in the table is to be determined by measuring only the sum of the parent pyraflufen-ethyl, ethyl 2–[2–chloro–5–(4–chloro–5–difluoromethoxy)–1–methyl–1H–pyrazol–3–yl]–4–fluor ophenoxy] acetate, and its acid metabolite, E–1, 2–chloro–5–(4–chloro–5–difluoromethoxy–1–methyl–1H–pyrazol–3–yl)–4–fluorophe noxyacetic acid, calculated as the stoichiometric equivalent of pyraflufen-ethyl in or on the commodity. Compliance with the livestock commodity tolerance levels specified in the table is to be determined by measuring only the sum of the parent pyraflufen-ethyl, ethyl 2–[2–chloro–5–(4–chloro–5–difluoromethoxy)–1–methyl–1H–pyrazol–3–yl]–4–fluor ophenoxy] acetate and its acid metabolites: E–1, 2–chloro–5–(4–chloro–5–difluoromethoxy–1–methyl–1H–pyrazol–3–yl)–4–fluorophe noxyacetic acid, and E–9, 2–chloro–5–(4–chloro–5–difluoromethoxy–1H–pyrazol–3–yl)–4–fluorophenoxyaceti c acid, both calculated as the stoichiometric equivalent of pyraflufen-ethyl in or on the commodity.
