Code of Federal Regulations Title 34. Education § 34.76.101 The general State application

A State that makes subgrants to local educational agencies under a program subject to this part shall have on file with the Secretary a general application that meets the requirements of section 441 of the General Education Provisions Act.

That any wilful failure on the part of the county commissioners, board of revision of taxes;  borough, township, district, and ward assessors;  recorders of deeds, prothonotaries, and clerks of courts, to carry out the duties imposed upon them by the several sections of this act, shall be deemed a misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof the person or persons so failing to comply shall be sentenced to a fine not exceeding five hundred dollars, and imprisonment not exceeding one year.
