Outside diameter

215 mm. (8 in.).

According to pipe outside diameter.

Bolt circle diameter

183 mm. (7 3/16 in.).

Slots in flange

6 holes 22 mm. ( 7/8 in.) in diameter shall be equidistantly placed on a bolt circle of the above diameter, slotted to the flange periphery. The slot width is to be 22 mm. ( 7/8 in.).

Flange thickness

20 mm. ( 3/4 in.).

Bolts and nuts

6, each of 20 mm. ( 3/4 in.) in diameter and of suitable length.

    The flange must be of steel having a flat face, with a gasket of oilproof material, and must be suitable for a service pressure of 6 kg./cm.2 (85 p.s.i.).

    The steel materials used must meet the material specifications of standard B16.5, Steel Pipe Flanges and Flanged Fittings of the American National Standards Institute. (See § 154.106 of this chapter.)
