California Code, Welfare and Institutions Code - WIC § 14018.1

The department shall prospectively notify a Medi-Cal managed care plan of the date of the regularly scheduled annual redetermination of a Medi-Cal beneficiary in a disabled aid category, who is enrolled in that plan and where eligibility redetermination is the responsibility of the department.  Nothing in this section shall provide a beneficiary with additional Medi-Cal coverage due to the department's failure to provide this notice.
