California Code, Water Code - WAT § 31994

In any transaction pursuant to Sections 31991, 31992, 31993, and 31995, the district may incorporate in the deed, contract, option, or other instrument conditions subsequent for reversion of title to the district upon failure to pay, within the time fixed by the board, district taxes, county taxes, or other sums required by the board and may require the payment of penalties on any default in payment of contract installments or other sums required to be paid.
