The project on San Lorenzo Creek in Alameda County for flood control and allied purposes is hereby adopted and authorized substantially in accordance with the recommendations of the Chief of Engineers in House Document Numbered 452, Eighty-third Congress, Second Session, as authorized by act of Congress approved September 3, 1954, Public Law 780, Eighty-third Congress, Second Session, 1 at an estimated cost to the State of such sum as may be appropriated for state cooperation by the Legislature upon the recommendation and advice of the department, when funds for carrying out said project are appropriated by Congress.
