Under the alternative procedure the work to be done by the contractor shall consist of furnishing all or any part of the labor, materials, supplies, and equipment necessary for the construction of the improvements or the work may be performed or the labor, materials, supplies, and equipment furnished in the same manner as provided in Chapter 6 of this division. 1 Whenever the alternative procedure is adopted, the resolution shall recite that fact, state the name of the agency or authority which is to make the contribution, the contribution which is to be made, and the work to be done by the contractor or by the city. In all other particulars the resolution shall conform to the provisions of Chapter 3 of this division. 2 Nothing in this section prevents the acceptance of contributions not mentioned in the resolution of intention for any improvements mentioned in this section, and for that purpose Section 5125 is incorporated as part of this division as if fully set out herein.
