California Code, Public Resources Code - PRC § 5099

It is the purpose of this chapter to provide authority to enable the state and its local governmental agencies and subdivisions to participate in the benefits of the “Land and Water Conservation Fund Act of 1965” (Public Law 88-578;  78 Stat. 897). 1
