Nothing in NRS 445A.300 to 445A.730, inclusive, shall be construed to amend, modify or supersede the provisions of title 48 of NRS or any rule, regulation or order promulgated or issued thereunder by the State Engineer.
It is the policy of this State to provide for water which is safe for drinking and other domestic purposes and thereby promote the public health and welfare.
