California Code, Labor Code - LAB § 1185

The orders of the commission fixing minimum wages, maximum hours, and standard conditions of labor for all employees, when promulgated in accordance with the provisions of this chapter, shall be valid and operative and such orders are hereby expressly exempted from the provisions of Article5 (commencing with Section11346) of Chapter3.5 of Part 1 of Division 3 of Title 2 of the Government Code.
