Such insurers may invest in bonds issued under the “Home Owners' Loan Act of 1933”; 1 bonds, debentures and notes issued by any federal home loan bank, or consolidated federal home loan bank notes, bonds and debentures issued by the Federal Home Loan Bank Board in accordance with the provisions of the Federal Home Loan Bank Act, 2 and mortgage, mortgage participation, pass-through or trust certificates, or obligations or other securities issued or guaranteed by the Federal Home Loan Mortgage Corporation, pursuant to Section 305 or Section 306 of the Federal Home Loan Mortgage Corporation Act (12 U.S.C. Secs. 1454, 1455), by the Government National Mortgage Association, pursuant to Section 306 or Section 313 or Title III of the National Housing Act (12 U.S.C. Secs. 1721, 1723(e)), 3 or by the Federal National Mortgage Association pursuant to 12 U.S.C. Sections 1717-1719.
