Disability insurance which is written or issued for delivery outside California in
a state the laws of which require recognition of psychologists licensed in such state
for services performed within the scope of psychological practice shall not be deemed
to prohibit the insured from selecting a psychologist licensed in California to perform
services in California which are covered under the terms of the policy even though
such psychologist is not licensed in the state in which the insurance is written or
issued for delivery.
