California Code, Health and Safety Code - HSC § 50150

(a) This chapter sets forth the general responsibilities and roles of the California Housing and Homelessness Agency, the Department of Housing and Community Development, the Housing Development and Finance Committee, and the California Housing Finance Agency in carrying out state housing policies and programs.  It is declaratory of existing law as to those roles and responsibilities, and shall not be construed as creating additional responsibilities.

(b) This section shall become operative on July 1, 2026.
