Nothing in this part, Section 100295, Chapter 3 (commencing with Section 101175) of Part 3, and Part 3 (commencing with Section 124300) of Division 106 or in any regulation prescribed by the department in accordance herewith shall compel any practitioner who treats the sick by prayer in the practice of the religion of any well-recognized church, sect, denomination, or organization or any persons covered by Sections 2731 and 2800 of the Business and Professions Code to give any information about a disease or disability that is not infectious, contagious, or communicable or authorize any compulsory education, medical examination, or medical treatment.
