Subdivision (g) of Section 36 of Article XIII [FN1] of the California Constitution created the Education Protection Account in the State Treasury. Notwithstanding any law, the Controller may use the funds in the Education Protection Account for cashflow loans to the General Fund as provided in Sections 16310 and 16381.
