(a) The California Housing and Homelessness Agency and the California Health and Human Services Agency shall coordinate relevant state housing, health, and human services policies, funding, and programs, and shall promote data alignment under the purview of each agency, to help the state achieve its objectives related to housing and homelessness as described in the California Statewide Housing Plan required by Chapter 1.5 (commencing with Section 50420) of Part 2 of Division 31 of the Health and Safety Code and the Action Plan for Preventing and Ending Homelessness in California as adopted by the California Interagency Council on Homelessness.
(b) In complying with subdivision (a), the Secretary of California Housing and Homelessness and the Secretary of California Health and Human Services shall consider any input from the California Interagency Council on Homelessness.
