The Controller may not disburse funds from any appropriation for acquisition made to the Department of Parks and Recreation to pay for any property rights, however secured or received, until the State Public Works Board has approved the transaction. In addition, the Attorney General and the Department of General Services shall inform the State Public Works Board of every action in inverse condemnation served upon either or both of them, which pertains to any acquisition for the state park system, by placing an item on the board's agenda.
