California Code, Financial Code - FIN § 22200

(a) Revenue bonds issued pursuant to this act shall have all the qualities and incidents of securities under Article 8 of the Uniform Commercial Code 1 and shall be negotiable instruments.

(b) Revenue notes issued pursuant to this act shall have all the qualities and incidents of commercial paper under Article 3 of the Uniform Commercial Code 2 and shall be negotiable instruments notwithstanding any references therein to the terms of the bond ordinance or any variations in the rate of interest provided in such note, or any limitations upon the funds from which or limitations as to the bonds with which the notes may be paid, or any restriction upon the remedies of the holders.
