California Code, Business and Professions Code - BPC § 8672

As used in this chapter, “original field representative's license” means a field representative's license issued to an individual who did not have a license on the preceding June 30th.

For the purpose of this chapter, a renewal field representative's license means a field representative's license issued to an individual who had a field representative's license on June 30th of the preceding renewal period.
