A. A business which has five hundred or more employees at one site in area A or area B as defined in § 49-541 shall submit a schedule prior to October 1 of each year to the director which shows an adjusted work hour proposal that will reduce the level of carbon monoxide concentrations caused by vehicular travel.
B. A business which has one hundred or more employees at one site working in area A or area B as defined in § 49-541 may implement an adjusted work hour schedule in order to reduce the level of carbon monoxide concentrations caused by vehicular travel.
C. The director shall transmit the reports received pursuant to subsection A of this section to the advisory committee on air quality compliance 1 on or before December 1 of each year.
