An elector who desires to vote by early ballot may vote by early ballot at an election held in the district substantially in the manner as provided by title 16, chapter 4, article 8. 1 In the application of such article to this section:
1. The words “division of the district” shall be substituted for the word “precinct”.
2. The duties required of the county recorder shall be performed by the secretary of the board.
3. The duties of the early election board shall be performed by the election judges appointed under § 48-3016.
