A. When the survey or plan and report prepared under § 48-2015 are filed, the board of directors may reject the report and direct that a new report be prepared or that changes be made. If the report complies with the provisions of § 48-2015 and is satisfactory to the board, the board shall hold a hearing on any objections to the report or to the performance of the proposed work. Notice of the hearing shall be given by publication five times in a daily or twice in a weekly newspaper of general circulation in the sanitary district.
B. At the conclusion of the hearing the board shall order the report to be changed, or shall approve it as made. If changes are ordered, further hearings shall be held thereon until the board approves the report. Upon approval by the board, the report or a resume thereof shall be published for distribution to the public.
