A. The governor may on behalf of the state enter into reciprocal aid agreements or compacts with other states or the federal government, either on a statewide or local subdivision basis. Such mutual aid arrangements shall be limited to furnishing or exchange of:
1. Police services.
2. Personnel necessary to provide or conduct such services.
3. Such other supplies, equipment, facilities, personnel and services as needed. The agreements may relate to the terms and conditions of mutual aid and to reimbursement of costs and expenses for equipment and supplies, personnel and similar items for mobile support units and police units.
B. The provisions of subsection A do not affect, modify, limit or pertain to powers of the governor provided for by title 26, chapter 2, article 1. 1
