A. The vital records electronic systems fund is established consisting of monies collected pursuant to § 36-341. The director shall administer the fund. The director shall use fund monies for costs associated with the vital records automation system.
B. Fund monies:
1. Do not revert to the state general fund.
2. Are subject to legislative appropriation.
C. On notice from the director, the state treasurer shall invest and divest the monies in the fund as provided by § 35-313, and monies earned from investment shall be credited to the fund.
