Arizona Revised Statutes Title 33. Property § 33-131. Arizona coordinate system, 1983; zones; composition

A. The Arizona coordinate system, 1983, is the system of plane coordinates which has been established by the national geodetic survey for defining and stating the positions or locations of points on the surface of the earth in this state.

B. The Arizona coordinate system, 1983, contains three zones as follows:

C. In any land description in which the Arizona coordinate system, 1983, is utilized the system shall be designated “Arizona coordinate system, 1983, ____________ zone”, with the name of the appropriate zone inserted.
