A. Subject to title 41, chapter 4, article 4, 1 the board may employ and discharge an executive director and other officers and employees as it deems necessary and designate their duties. Board personnel are eligible to receive compensation as determined pursuant to § 38-611.
B. The executive director shall:
1. Issue and document licenses approved by the board.
2. Keep a record of the status of licenses and licensees.
3. Keep a record of the status of applicants, including those whose applications are denied.
4. Perform tasks and duties assigned by the board.
5. Collect fees and maintain accounting records according to generally accepted accounting principles.
