A. The director may establish a program to regulate agricultural ratite ranching and production and may adopt rules to govern the ratite industry. The director may appoint an ad hoc advisory committee pursuant to § 3-106 to make recommendations concerning regulating the industry.
B. The state veterinarian may adopt rules that are necessary to adequately protect the ratite industry from contagious diseases and parasites.
