Arizona Revised Statutes Title 28. Transportation § 28-7007. State highway fund; claims; payment

Monies in the state highway fund shall be paid only on an itemized and verified claim by the director of the department of transportation or any other bonded agent authorized by the director of the department of transportation. A claim shall be presented to and filed with the director of the department of administration disclosing the authority for the claim. If the director of the department of administration approves the claim, the director of the department of administration shall charge it to the proper account and pay the claim in accordance with the provisions of § 35-185 and shall charge the claim to the proper account.
