A. On or before April 1 of each year, the board shall review the updated five year transportation facilities construction program prepared by the director.
B. On or before May 1 of each year, the board shall publish a notice in a newspaper of general circulation in each county in which construction projects are planned under the statewide five year transportation facilities construction program for the following five fiscal years. The notice shall specify the date of the public hearing at which the board will consider the projects planned under the five year transportation facilities construction program. The public hearing shall allow the public to review the five year transportation facilities construction program and make any comments to the board related to the projects planned.
C. After the public hearing, the board may make priority changes in or introduce new projects to the proposed five year transportation facilities construction program pursuant to § 28-6955.
