A. Notwithstanding the provisions of § 28-1095 that limit the length of vehicles and loads:
1. The load on a vehicle operated alone or the load on the front vehicle of a combination of vehicles shall not extend more than three feet beyond the foremost part of the vehicle.
2. The load on a vehicle operated alone or the load on the rear vehicle of a combination of vehicles shall not extend more than six feet beyond the rear of the bed or body of the vehicle.
B. The extensions beyond the front and rear of the vehicle as provided in this section are not included in determining the length of the vehicle for the purposes of § 28-1095.
C. The limitations as to length of vehicles and loads prescribed in § 28-1095 and this section do not apply to a load on a pole trailer when transporting poles or pipes or structural material that cannot be dismembered, except that any pole, pipe or other material exceeding eighty feet in length shall not be transported unless a permit has been obtained as authorized in § 28-1103.
