Any owner or operator or employee thereof who knowingly refuses to permit the commission to inspect a well or who knowingly hinders or delays enforcement of the provisions of this chapter, and every person, whether as principal agent, servant or employee, or otherwise, who violates or knowingly fails or refuses to comply with the provisions of this chapter, or who knowingly fails or refuses to furnish any reply or record or information which may be requested pursuant to the provisions of this chapter or who knowingly renders a false or fraudulent report, shall be guilty of a class 2 misdemeanor as set forth in § 27-527.
