Arizona Revised Statutes Title 20. Insurance § 20-1002. Establishment of prepaid dental plan organizations

A. No person, unless authorized pursuant to article 3 or article 9 of this chapter,  1 may establish or operate a prepaid dental plan organization in this state, or sell or offer to sell, or solicit offers to purchase, or receive advance or periodic consideration in conjunction with a prepaid dental plan without obtaining and maintaining a certificate of authority pursuant to this article.

B. Within ninety days after the effective date of this article, every prepaid dental plan organization operating in this state shall submit an application for a certificate of authority to the director. Each such applicant may continue to operate as an organization until the director acts upon the application.
