A. If a county operates a facility that provides medical and health services to inmates and the facility has been accredited by the national commission on correctional health care or the American correctional association, the board of supervisors of that county may require that a prisoner under the supervision of the county sheriff's office exhaust all internal grievance procedures before filing a complaint with any regulatory entity regulating health professions as defined in § 32-3101.
B. If a prisoner files a complaint with an entity pursuant to subsection A of this section, the prisoner shall attach a copy of the county sheriff's office final grievance response to the complaint.
