(a) The Department of Parks, Heritage, and Tourism, including any of its divisions, may use funds appropriated for maintenance and general operations to purchase:
(1) Uniforms for parks personnel;
(2) Uniforms for Division of Arkansas Heritage personnel;
(3) Uniforms for Tourism Division personnel; and
(4) Uniforms to be used by employees of the department who are staffing sports shows, travel shows, or other special promotional programs or special theme costumes.
(b) Any clothing purchased under subsection (a) of this section shall:
(1) Remain the property of the department; and
(2) Be surrendered to the department upon either the department's request or the termination of employment of the individual to whom the clothing was issued.
