Arkansas Code Title 23. Public Utilities and Regulated Industries § 23-10-420. Shipment arrival--Notice

(b) Any railroad company failing to give such notice shall forfeit and pay to the shipper or other party whose interest is affected the sum of five dollars ($5.00) per car per day or fraction of a day's delay on all carload shipments and one cent (1¢) per one hundred pounds (100 lbs.) per day or fraction of a day on freight in less than carloads, with a minimum charge of five cents (5¢) for any one (1) package, after the expiration of the twenty-four (24) hours. However, not more than five dollars ($5.00) per day shall be charged for any one (1) consignment not in excess of a carload.
