(a) Each certificate of registration issued by the State Board of Health shall expire on June 30 following the date of issue.
(b) A renewal certificate may be issued to the holder of a current certificate of registration who makes application before the expiration of his or her certificate and pays a renewal fee set by the board. Satisfactory proof of complying with the board's continuing education requirements must accompany renewal applications.
