(a) The ballots for the election in the respective counties shall be prepared and distributed to the election officials by, or under the supervision of, the secretary of the district.
(b) The ballot to be used at the election need not be in duplicate and shall be in substantially the following form:
“BALLOT“(Special election held on the ․ day of ․, 19․)“The purpose of this election is to determine whether the Board of Directors of ․․․․․․․․․․ District shall be authorized to cooperate with the United States Government in the execution of a certain project for the construction of levees, drains, floodways, drainage canals, reservoirs, channel rectifications, and other flood control and drainage works within the boundaries of the District according to the outline of the plan for such project which was filed in the office of the District on the ․․․․․․․․․․ day of ․․․․․․․․․․, 19․․․, and whether the Board of Directors of the District shall be authorized to exercise with respect to the aforesaid project the powers conferred on the District under the provisions of Act ․․․․․․․․․․ of the Acts of the General Assembly of Arkansas for 1949 which became effective on the ․․․․․․․․․․ day of ․․․․․․․․․․, 1949.
