Alaska Statutes Title 18. Health, Safety, Housing, Human Rights, and Public Defender § 18.65.620. Duty of law enforcement agencies

(1) transmit a missing person report for entry into the Alaska Public Safety Information Network and the National Crime Information Center computer system as soon as practicable, but not later than two hours after receiving the report; and

(2) as soon as practicable, but not later than 24 hours after the agency learns that the person has been located, request that the information provided under (1) of this subsection be removed from the Alaska Public Safety Information Network and the National Crime Information Center computer system.
