Alaska Statutes Title 18. Health, Safety, Housing, Human Rights, and Public Defender § 18.55.560. Acquisition and development of undeveloped vacant land

Upon a determination, by resolution, of the governing body of the municipality that the acquisition and development of undeveloped vacant land not within a slum or blighted area is essential to the proper clearance or redevelopment of a slum or blighted area or a necessary part of the general slum clearance program of the municipality, the acquisition, planning, preparation for development or disposal of the land shall constitute a redevelopment project that may be undertaken by the corporation in the manner provided in AS 18.55.480--18.55.960.
