Texas Special District Local Laws Code - SDLL § 9011.104. Ballot Petition

(a) A person who wants to have the person's name printed on the ballot as a candidate for director must present to the board secretary a petition requesting that action.

(b) The petition must be:

(1) signed by at least 10 residents of the district who are registered voters;  and

(2) presented to the secretary not later than the 11th day before the date of the election.
