At the time and place fixed for the hearing the petitioner shall exhibit to the court a just and true account of his debts, credits and estate, whatsoever and wheresoever situate, and if so required, shall produce all books and papers in his possession, or under his control, relating to his business and estate, and shall answer all questions that may be put to him by the court, or (under their control) on the part of his creditors, touching the same, and shall satisfy the court that he has not concealed or conveyed to any person whomsoever, for the use of himself, or any of his family or friends, or whereby to expect any future benefit to him or them, any part of his estate, effects or credits.
