Pennsylvania Statutes Title 36 P.S. Highways and Bridges § 951. State industrial highway between Chester and Philadelphia;  survey;  location

The State Highway Commissioner is hereby authorized to cause surveys to be made for a proposed Industrial State Highway between the city of Chester, in the county of Delaware, and the city of Philadelphia;  its western terminal to be in the vicinity of the boundary line of the city of Chester and its eastern terminal to be the city line of the city of Philadelphia;  the survey of said proposed Industrial State Highway to follow the shortest practicable line between the said two terminals following the present public roads through the southern part of Delaware County as far as practicable.
