The Department of Highways, with the approval of the Governor, is hereby authorized to erect and construct a bridge over the Monongahela River in the vicinity of Brownsville, connecting the State highway system in Washington County with the system of State highways in Fayette County, to be known as the “William J. Lane-Eustice H. Bane Bridge”, and to acquire the necessary land for approaches thereto.
