(a) Conveyance of land.--The board of commissioners of a county may convey land to the Commonwealth to assist the State Armory Board in the erection of armories for the use of the Pennsylvania National Guard. The board of commissioners may acquire land for this purpose in a lawful manner.
(b) Board.--The board of commissioners may also furnish water, light or fuel, free of cost to the Commonwealth, for use in an armory of the National Guard and may do all things necessary to accomplish this purpose.
