New Mexico Statutes Chapter 60. Business Licenses § 60-13-28. Suspension period

A. The commission shall make all suspensions for a definite period not exceeding ninety consecutive days.  Suspension of a license for any cause specified in the Construction Industries Licensing Act shall not preclude revocation of that license for cause by the commission.

B. A contractor whose license has been suspended or revoked shall complete work in progress as directed by the commission.

C. At the end of the suspension period, the commission shall review the license to determine if the license should be reinstated or revoked.
