Montana Title 33. Insurance and Insurance Companies § 33-2-122. Rights and duties of foreign insurer

Except as otherwise provided in this chapter, a foreign insurer which has a certificate of authority under this chapter shall, until its certificate is revoked or withdrawn, enjoy the same but no greater rights and privileges as a domestic insurer and shall be subject to the same duties, restrictions, penalties, and liabilities imposed upon a domestic insurer of like character.
